Reader comment on item: What's True Islam? Not for the U.S. Government to Say
in response to reader comment: What a way to justify cruelty!

The problem is that Islam has been placed in the same slot as religions which truly advocate peace. Another problem is George W's constant reminder to us that "Islam is a peaceful religion," and has much to offer the West. What precisely is never spelled out!

Unlike G. W., who obviously has never read the Koran, I have, and I can assure everyone that it is a vile book. So is the Bible, because it contains orders to kill all unbelievers (Deut. 13:12-15), however, most of the Old Testament has been discarded for the New, at least by Christians.

Islam is different, mainly because every single tenet in the Koran is considered valid, EVEN TODAY. Judging by the inane remarks made by US government officials, who stumble over one another in their haste to declare that Islam is a peaceful religion, it is patently clear that not one has even bothered to read the Koran, yet it contains a blueprint of what Muslims have in mind for us, and it's not pretty. The Koran should be considered required reading.

Muslims are a mindless lot, accepting whatever they are told without even a minimum of curiosity. Curiosity is the beginning of knowledge, but they are discouraged from examining the Koran, and for good reason. Questioning its contents can bring dire consequences. Instead, they learn Koranic verses by rote, reducing themselves to automatons and mindless dupes.

I have repeatedly sought advice regarding the true meaning of certain Koranic verses from leading Islamic groups in the US, only to be met with stony silence. Their "faith" must be accepted unconditionally, no questions asked, thank you very much.

Depending on the "celebration," male Muslims masochistically whip their own backs with cat-o'-nine-tails until the blood flows. Babies are head-scarred with knives in some age-old ritual -- more blood accompanied by terrified screams. Apostates and nonbelievers (that's me) are beheaded by "brave, fearless warriors." They are in essence the epitome of cowardice. Females need read no further; they are persona non grata. Welcome to the real world of Islam!

Come on, George! We were given a brain, so let's use it. It doesn't take rocket science to put two and two together. The sheer stupidity of Muslims must be seen to be believed, and we, in the West, have seen with our own two eyes the depths to which they can sink, all in the name of "peaceful Islam."

For once, stop being politically correct and tell it like it is. A Muslim is a Muslim is a Muslim.. This is why your dreams of democracy in the Middle East will never be achieved. They're at war with the West, George, fighting you every step of the way, sabotaging your every effort, yet you continue to inform the world that "Islam is peace," and sanction it by helping Muslims rededicate their "holy mosque".

This is so incongruous! We have the gumption to isolate people with communicable diseases, yet we allow Muslims into the West as though they are disease-free. Everywhere Muslims migrate, you can rely on one thing -- they will magically turn a nice residential area into an instant ghetto, all because of the Koran, which orders them never to mingle with their "infidel" neighbors. Longtime residents are "forced" to move out, leaving the Muslims to do their worst.

Muslims are both sadistic and masochistic by nature. They take pride in their videoed acts of cruelty toward helplessly-bound victims, yet also willingly volunteer to be blown up in a suicide jacket, slavering in anticipation over the 72 virgins who, they childishly believe, will greet them as they die in the name of Islam.

There;s no secrecy about their plans. It's all in the Koran!
