Politicians are the real problem - they prevent the truth about Islam from being told!!Reader comment on item: What's True Islam? Not for the U.S. Government to Say Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Sep 3, 2014 at 21:30 >"Jack Straw, a former Labour home secretary and British member of parliament whose seat has a large Muslim population, declared: "The medieval barbarity of ISIS and its ilk is completely contrary to Islam. It's crucial that members of the faith find their voice to condemn their apostasy." Comment: Straw goes further than others in calling ISIS views "apostasy" and demanding that Muslims condemn it. How very patronizing."< There lies the problem. These politicians masquerading as experts on Islam spout and propagate the myths and lies of Islam. They announce themselves to know more Islam than Muslims themselves. Isnt it amazing and the gullible public believes them. Is this due to real; ignorance or due to PC culture that forces them to act that way. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
