The special interest groups are the problem not the solutionReader comment on item: When Conservatives Argue about Islam Submitted by Homefront (Australia), Jul 23, 2007 at 04:56 SS, In my experience of Australian University life a few home truths have been made apparent to me. The first of these challenges your thesis that the special interest groups can be activated against the Islamists. They have had since the 1960s a similar ideological underpinning to the Islamists themselves. Issues such as womens rights, native title and gay rights are argued disingenuously and simply constitute ammunition to hurl at the conservative establishment and the left's natural enemies in the church. The reality is that all these causes are disposable. The left will quite happily throw them in the trash in favor of much safer post Islamic invasion values such as liberal treatment of polygamy. Just watch an episode of "Big Love" and you'll see this happening right before your eyes. The godfather of these new post modern, post rationalist, post christian, post breakfastist, Rosseau loving left wing totalitarians was Georg Lukacs. His thought has framed this new and comprehensive subversion of our society. Take one look at this man and you'll understand the bigger picture. He was a German Jew in Nazi Germany who seemed to do rather well - remaining a party favorite and the headmaster of a large school rather than getting shipped to the gas chambers. He slipped into obscurity after the fall of his prized fascist state reemerging later in the 1960s to provide the US student antiwar movement with a philosophical cassus belli that would turn them against their own state in a more permanent sense. This Anti American perspective flowed out from the universities and into Hollywood, the media, Congress and every higher education institution throughout the western world. Lukacs was Antiwestern. His philosophy was more like a strategy and centred around the promotion of every concievable standard within a free society until it could not function due to the lack of standards. Modern multiculturalism reflects this strategy. Note the totalitarian dimensions of modern multiculturalism that would see us on our knees in front of the Islamofascist collossus. Look how we are shuffled into right think and wrong think categories. If you want to be employed by the government or a tertiary education sector you must swear to uphold orthodoxies that are militated against by what you see infront of your very eyes. Lukacs called this proliferation of standards and infection with moral and cultural relativism "polymorphic perversity". Once democracy and the west collapsed like a phoenix from the ashes the perfect socialist citizen would emerge. Lukac's endgame was not unlike any of the Islamic states we see around the world today. These so called special interest groups are nothing more than the bastard intellectual progeny of Lukacs. Therefore an allegience between them and the Islamists is logical and sensible. Today unlike in the past being gay, a feminist or from this or that cultural minority is something which much intrinsically involve some form of rebellion against an invisible enemy apparent in the society around you. So much is hinted at in the Daffyd Thomas Welshmen character of Matt Lucas in the BBC comedy program "Little Britain". With standards having changed in the west to insure that people within these groups do not suffer from persecution what concievable rationale could they have for being so unfair towards the society that tries to treat them so fairly? The answer is it was never about equal treatment - these groups have all been assimilated into what is an umbrella totalitarian project. Take a closer look and you'll see what I mean. There is one enemy here that has many heads some Marxist, some Liberal and some Islamist. I would suggest a strategy employed by Jason against the mythical Hydra of severing the heads and burning the necks so they don't regrow. The enemies within deserve as unfavorable a treatment as the enemies without. Homefront.
