Moderate Islam?Reader comment on item: Erdoğan: "Turkey Is Not a Country Where Moderate Islam Prevails" Submitted by Sahane S. Muftuoglu (Turkey), Oct 5, 2007 at 06:10 This terminology is created by the emperialist western powers.'Moderate Islam' is a step before 'political or radical Islam'. It is a typical game played by mainly US and most European powers in this case to reshape the Middle Easters region. Our great leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk has once said that 'the biggest game the west will play on this region will be to to use Muslims to destroy Muslims'. 'Moderate Islam' is a part of the Greater Middle Eastern Initiative. A typical scenario created by these emperialists...first divide then destroy... The Islam of Kuran, besides everything is anti-emperialist. If you take a look at the figures of so called 'moderate Islam' in different countries, in mine being Tayyip Erdogan, they are with no exception in close cooperation with the emperialists. Doesnt this sound wierd to you? The emperialists need collaborators in the Middle Eastern countries. In Turkey they found AKP headed by T.Erdogan. Neither this party nor its staff have anything to do with religion. They use religion. Their aim is to destroy the principles and revolutions of Ataturk. This is the will of the West too. This is what they have in common. Why does the European Union demand Turkey to give up on Ataturk? Why doesnt the US reflect Turkey Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
