Devoutly adhering to Islam???Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome – It's Now Official Submitted by humanist (Germany), Feb 18, 2008 at 10:29 Very often we come across such devout muslims adhering to Islam. They can all read and understand arabic and thus the koran. The koran has clear instructions, hardly any ambiguity and can be easily adapted to any individuals life. Along with the other scripts, Islam tells you in black and white what a devout should and shouldn't do. And of course ,all muslims follow every word mentioned and find no need for a central religious authority to guide them. They apply shariah laws to their personal lives and live in peace with the society. Ofcourse there are rare instances when a muslim does something thats plain evil, but he is quickly ejected from the society. Looking at Islamic nations with or without the wealth of oil, one can clearly observe how these societies respect human life, gender equality, religious equality, social equality as clearly depicted by the koran and hadiths for an Islamic state. There is just about no chance in hell that any muslim can get anything from the koran wrong. Thereby I stand corrected. There are no moderate muslims who, out of some underlying reasons, turn to faith and are or will be religiously supporting or defending (and never questioning) in one way or the other, inhuman acts in the name of Islam.
