Terror Is as Terror Does

Let's just call a spade a spade. ANY person who commits murder or inflicts injury on others, particularly in the cause of religious or moral convictions, is a TERRORIST. It's an equal opportunity label that we should use whether the perpetrators are Islamic, Christian, Jewish or Atheist. To shy away from calling these sorts of acts terrorism because of fears of retaliation or in homage to political correctness only perpetuates the terror. Also, let's not forget that ordinary Muslims are also the victims of terrorism by radical Islamists, as speaking up to criticize these acts directly is tantamount to apostasy according to Shari'ah law and therefore punishable by death in fundamentalist Islam. How can mainstream Muslims afford to speak up? The bigger question is how can they afford NOT to?
