Wake Up People!Reader comment on item: "America's Chickens are Coming Home to Roost" Submitted by Builders of Zion (United States), Mar 20, 2008 at 15:25 The revelation of the fact that Barack Obama has participated in a church which has presented the leader of the Nation of Islam with a lifetime achievement award speaks volumes. Barack has been a disciple of a pastor who consistently works to drive the wedge of racial division. All this adds up to the reality that Barack has lasted twenty years in a social setting which promotes racism, if he did not agree with the sermons he should have removed himself from the congregation. For a candidate who promises to bring change, Barack seems to be just more of the same racially biased political machine. At the absolute minimum Barack Obama has displayed a lack in good judgement for twenty years by remaining involved in a racist church. Politicians are masterful speech givers and rarely reveal their genuine intentions when on the campaign trail. Barack refuses to renounce his pastor, this in and of itself is all the truth I need to steer far away from this man. I would be supportive of any black, white or other complected man or woman who has a track record of good sound judgement and principled actions. Barack has failed the test. The United States is in need of a change in the political machinery, what we need is righteous and upright people in office. The correct politician for today is a God fearing person who respects life and liberty in a Biblical context. We need politicians who support freedom for all races without limitation based on color or gender. We do not need more racially divisive politicians. If our nation returns to its Biblical orientation and begins to support Israel as it should we will be blessed. Until then we will likely see more and more division among ourselves. As a country who has placed its hand against Israel, forcing Her to negotiate their own destruction with mortal enemies, we cannot expect harmony and peace here at home. Yes, we need change, but not the type Barack, hillary or McCain propose.
