20 years before Obama denounce the hate.

It troubles me that Senator Obama sat quietly for 20 years while his pastor spewed hate against Jews, Whites, homosexuals and the State of Israel.

It makes me wonder if his ministers ignorance is also his. Perhaps not, however why did Senator Obama stay in this church for so long. He could have left or talked to his pastor and asked him to stop the hate. If his' pastor decided he would continue to preach intolerance maybe then Senator Obama could have left.

If the shoe were on the other foot, say Mrs Hillary Clinton or Mr. John McCain were to be at a white church for twenty years and the white minister said the exact same things only about African Americans and Muslims would that be ok ?

Why now in early May of 08 did Senator Obama finally come out and say that the hate speech against Jews and others was wrong, why not one year ago, or ten years ago ?

Often in the West we are frustrated that there are not more good muslims speaking out against the bad muslims who are speaking hate. Is this the same as Senator Obama's lack of speaking out against anti-semitism ?
