Our dear samer and you will never find the word Jerusalem in the Qur'anReader comment on item: Churches in Saudi Arabia? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), May 2, 2008 at 07:20 Our dear Samer rabina yu3alimu qiraa't kutub al-tarikh wrote >You must be joking !!! Go read history books, if you don't believe the documentary No it is you that need to, first, learn to read Arabic and then read a book of history >Look Sara, Mecca is mentioned once in the Quran by the name Bakka, Medina (Which means City in Arabic) is mentioned 14 times to refer to various cities in the region not particulary Yathrib (The old name of the City before Mohammad change the name to the englightened city) - Yathrib is mentioned once in the Quran - The sacred land (Palestine) is mentioned once, So where would I find the name of Jerusalem (al-Quds) in the Qur'an? Let me help you: you will never find it. And how do you know that if Bakka in the Qur'an is really Mecca? But wait: I have a few questions for you: 1. Do you think that may be Gabriel had a common cold when he uttered the word Bakka as he was a bit nasal? 2. And why did Muhammad not fix Gabriel little faux pas? 3. And how do you know that may Gabriel with age and all he was not mixing Yathrib with Bakka? 4. And how do you know that may be your Allah when he mentions the word madina in the Qur'an he was not talking about Lahore or where ever you live in Pakiland? So do you think that may be Muhammad's destination was Lahore and not Jerusalem? I will be waiting for your answer with great anticipation >Now how do we know that these are what they are, read my emails to Williame, you will find the answer there. Islamic gobbledygook >Quran Chapter 17: verse 1 "Glorified (and Exalted) be HE (God) Who took his His slave (Mohammad) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram (in Mecca) to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem) , the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him Our signs, He is the All-Hearer, The All-Seer" Let me repeat one more time: 1. You will not find the word God in this aya 2. You will not find the word Muhammad in this aya 3. You will not find the word Mecca in this aya 4. You will not find the word Jerusalem in this aya 5. You are editing the book of your Arabian Allah And shame on you for posting this drivel one more time >Why do you agree that Al-Masjid Al-Haram is in mecca, although it is not mentioned mecca there, How do you know that this was not a case of reversing case for effect? > but you deny that Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem The site of al-masjad al-aqsa in this Quranic allusion was not fixed until the 11 century CE. even Tabari did not know what is really the site of al-masjad al-aqsa and you ain't no Tabari. >Historical recording during Mohammad times, The Prophet said so, so I believe him. full stop. Really? so where would I find an extant source where abul Qasim the arabian warlord and caravan raider said: wa ina masjad Umar fi al-quds inahu makan al-masjad al-aqsa I can assure you you will never find such saying >You're wrong that the name Jerusalem was know for 2500 years, So? >its name was Ilya not Jerusalem. even during the times of the Romans in Palestine during Jesus time and after him. READ HISTORY And what is really your point? and where would I find the name Ilya in the Qur'an? >Lowest or farthest is when the romans fought the persians, Bogus and shame on you for not knowing your history. The Persians invaded the Greek empire starting in 616CE and they invaded Syria and Egypt and they were defeated in 627-628CE and left Egypt in 628CE as for your bogus "lowest" this word in Arabic means al-ard al-khafida and you will never find such word in this aya and Egypt for sure was not ard khafida And more bogus is that the words adna al-ard means the nearer land >As far as for your non-existant temple, eversince the jews occupied jerusalem in 1967 until today they are digging under the place of Al-Aqsa (41 years) they did not find anything, many christians doubt that there is a temple under the mosque - this for your temple, there is nothing - hot air Islamic gobbledygook >Do you say that jesus cured the blind and raised the dead ridiculuos too?? Oh do you think that may be he did that because he was indeed God? after all a God cures the blind and raise the dead and breath life in caly birds and a God does not die and Jesus in the Qur'an does not die. Congratualtions our dear samer but it seems that Jesus is your Allah. See? Logic can be easy. >Yes it is true that Al-Buraq was tied to the wall, where the jews are weeping and crying on that wall and banging their head on it - is this normal too. - like what the Shi'at in Iran do, banging their heads, and hiting themselves - this is not normal Oh I forgot to ask: 1. How did Muhammad book for his trip to Jerusalem? Did he call a travel agent or did he use the intenet? 2. Did Gabriel help him with booking the trip? and was gabriel over his little cold and no more bakka? 3. Did he ride the Buraq in first class or business class? 4. And why did he not travel on the back of a naqa (female camel) in stead of this Zoroastrain invention called al-buraq? 5. And where did he stay in Jerusalem? Was it a bed and breakfast place? 6. Was Allah watching the progress of such trip? 7. Who was keeping an eye on the universe when Allah was busy with the progress of abul qasim little trip? >I suggest you read , instead of having a biased view with ignorance No, it is you that need to read
