More of those.Reader comment on item: Churches in Saudi Arabia? Submitted by B. Williame (Belgium), May 9, 2008 at 10:33 (1) "God does not have to change himself to human or anything – all over the centuries God never showed himself or transformed to something else – He sends Angels or Prophets to deliver a message." When Mozes ran from Egypt with the Jews a pilar of fire called the breath of god held the egyptian army back. If all powerfull and IF we talk about the same god, then he can show himself in any form he likes. (2) The fact that Moses asked God to show himself near the burning bush, God told him if you see this mountain is still exists, you can see me. At that moment the mountain crumbled "And when Moses came at the time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord spoke to him; he said my Lord show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You. God said "You cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain, if it stands still in its place then you shall see Me.; So when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He made it collapse to dust, and Moses fell down unconscious. Then when recovered his senses, he said "Glory be to You, I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers" This is clearly differend from the biblical version I grew up with. Where God was talking from the bush and the bush represented him. (3) Clearly not according to what your Q'uran teaches else, why the need to change afterwards? If what ever HE says, is. Then he would never feel the urge to change, never feel the urge to set laws. because the verry moment HE trully wants us to follow laws. We do. (4) Not adding anything new here... this just says what we allready do not knew not about what we are learning about. (5) The burning bush is God's make, not him = > According to whom, Islam teachings? (6) I know many infidels call Mohammad (God forbid) that he is child molester. This really makes us very sad and erally hurt us. Do you know that in the middle ages in Europe a child of 10, 12 years old gets married????? Perhaps there were cases of such in the middle ages, BUT the West evolved beyond that, why didn't Islam? (7) Do you know that before Islam, they marry their sisters and daughters and the Greek even marry their mother? –what do you have to say about that? That Islam still does so, while the westerners evolved beyond. When will Islam evolve? (8) Do you know that Mary was 11 years old when she delivered Jesus. Nope, never saw her birth certificate, but that's probably because she didn't have any. The romans only just started with counting population, etc... Can you tell me who invented her age to be 11, perhaps some Islamist professor to justify Mohammeds marriages? Where did you find proof of her young age? (9) Do you know that Aisha (Mohamad's wife) Father was alive and a noble man and he consented to give Aisha in marriage to the Prophet. When some arabian rich man wanted to appease some warlord they often gave 1 of their daughters as a sign of peace. The warlord accepted and married( raped) the daughter accordingly. Even Alexander the Great got married several times thanks to this system. Still does not make it any more horrid than it is. (10) "Do you know that we do not have in History any record of any enemy of Mohammad accusing him of marrying a child – why??? Because it was customary to marry of young age." Possible, why do Muslims still do it now? Because It's customary? Pedophilia is still customary in islam? (11) Do you know that Mohammad married a woman 15 years older than him, when he was 25 years old? We got an other term for that... but it comes close to necrofilia... Just can't think of the word in english.... sorry this doesn't make Mohammed look any better... :/ (12) Do you know that he stayed married to her 25 years before she died. And during this time he never looked at or married any woman for 25 years? muhammed : 25 wife 40=> Muhammed 50 wife 65 dead.... did have many before he was 25? Or if she was his first, perhaps she was his only true love.... and he became a pervert only at elder age? Though it was back then socially acceptabel to be a pervert.... Does make me question why many muslims want to follow he's example at this day, unless there are some really nasty pedofiles amongst them? Sorry, but youre making me disgust Islam with these examples instead of liking it.... (13) Do you know that he stayed two year in mourning and he did not marry another? But did he have sex during that time? (14) Do you know that the first woman he married after Khadija died after two years was an 80 years old woman in honor to her deceased husband. So, that's much better? Poor woman... Was she demented?(sorry I'm almost joking now... this is becoming a bit freakishly for me) (15) Do you know that he married a young girl, because she could memories the whole Quran and narrated over 3000 Hadith (sayings and deeds of Mohammad) Was that the only reason? He married here not because he loved her or for money or welft, just because she could memorize? Guess he just needed some reason? (16) Do you know that she was 9 years old when she was married and she stayed 9 years with Mohammad when he died. You mean until he died, correct? So when she became 18 she was freed of him? I'm not sure but didn't he try to impregnate her? (17) Do you know that almost all Mohammad marriages are for political reasons more than anything else and many where older women of 60 years and many where young in the 20s and many where in the 40s. Ok, so he married all ages.... At least you could see it positivly, he didn't discimininate on age, only on gender. Would he have married a young boy who could memorise the whole Quran and narrated over 3000 Hadith ? Or negativly... He's first wive as I understand was a marriage with love. The second because he loved he's wife(so not because he loved the one he married) then some for political reasons, a small girl for her ability to memorize, etc... Perhaps, it should be put in Islam that marriage was rather a form of taking care of instead of having sex with? The he wouldn't be a pedofile, a necrofile, just a caravan raider/ speaker for Allah? I'm not shure where you want to go with this... BTw, I'll be off for the weekend again, but I'll be back afterwards, regards,
