Druze: Accepted excerpts from Quran

The Druze:

They believe that the true Quran was revealed by Salman al Farisi....

I'm not getting into how they acquired the "excerpts from the Quran" just stating a fact.

The Druze began as an offshoot of the Ismaeli sect of Islam, but is unique in its incorporation of Gnostic and other philosophies. Because of such incorporation many Islamic scholars label the Druze as a non-Muslim sect.

The Ismaelis are the second largest part of the Shi'a and the 3 branches of Ismaelis being the Nizari, the Druze and Mustaali.

Granted, their acceptance of Gnoticism and parts of the Quran make them controversial, they were well respected by the Sunni Muslims when they fought during the Crusades with the Sunnis, then later had Jihad declared on them by the Sunnis...
