Hi btilly,

I am impressed in your interest in Islam. It seems that you are doing a lot of study on Islam. However, some of the books, websites, and/or people that you got your information from may be biased and some of your information is wrong or you may have misinterpreted some of the information. Please allow me to help you to clear up some of the misinformation in your comments.

No racism in Islam

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). (The Noble Quran, 49:13)"

The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated:

"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white- except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim, which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefor, do injustice to yourselves." Muhammad the Messenger of God (PBUH)

Also, let me correct you on Ishaq 243. This Hadeeth is considered a weak Hadeeth being narrated in a Mu'allaq form. Mu'allaq hadeeth is one in which one or more narrators are omitted from the beginning of its isnaad by the muhaddith who compiled the book or Every hadeeth which is mentioned in the books with the isnaad omitted and which is attributed to the Prophet (PBUH), without being attributed to any of the books of Sunnah, is a mu'allaq hadeeth.

Ibn-Ishaq and other sources are extremely doubtful and unauthenticated. Most Muslim scholars today firmly and strongly believe in this. As most Muslim Scholars agree, we Muslims can't take them as absolute Truth or accurate information. Much of these volumes are either corrupt or taken out of context. Again, this is according to the Muslims scholars. This is why these volumes are considered "unauthenticated".

Someone made some mistakes with the translation. Here is what this hadeeth translates to in English.

"If what Muhammad says is the truth, then we are worse than donkeys, "after which God revealed concerning him: "They swear by God that they said nothing (bad), but really they said the word of disbelief, and they disbelieved after accepting Islâm, and they resolved that (plot to murder Prophet Muhammad SAW) which they were unable to carry out, and they could not find any cause to do so except that God and His Messenger had enriched them of His Bounty. If then they repent, it will be better for them, but if they turn away, God will punish them with a painful torment in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. And there is none for them on earth as a Walî (supporter, protector) or a helper."

Ibn Ishaq said: "It was claimed that he repented to God for this and that his repentance was genuine. And (among the hypocrites from Banu Lawzan Ibn ‘Amr Ibn ‘Awf) was Nabtal Ibn Al-Harith; it was he of whom the Messenger of God said, according to my information: ‘Whoever wishes to look at Satan may look at Nabtal Ibn Al-Harith.' Islamic Economics is simple. We need Islamic economics right now. Get rid of interest (riba) because it is forbidden. It is just that simple. Interest is sucking the life blood out of America. When will we Americans wake up as Ms. Brown stated and read the Bible on interest and read the Qur'an about interest. It is forbidden. Stop interest now and we will save ourselves from bankruptcy, stock market crash, depression, etc...
