Almighty God Gives Every Believer the POWER Through His Holy Spirit to Remember Every Word Spoken by the Mouth of GodReader comment on item: Islamic Economics: What Does It Mean? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Oct 27, 2008 at 13:20 Of all the responses received regarding the discipleship of Yeshua HaMashiach and its foundational requirement for faith as described in the Holy Bible, this inquiry has in its tone one of the more respectful requests for why a believer in Yeshua HaMashiach is compelled to honor the WORD of the LORD. The simple answer is that the scriptures contained in the Holy Bible are required to be studied for the believer to receive its full blessings; that the power of the Holy Spirit operates in each believer's life according to the written Word of the Holy Bible to help remember every WORD spoken by Almighty God, from ancient times and languages to this very day in modern tongues, even in Arabic. A believer's life owes the very breath and every beat of the heart to the Father, for as it is written in John 6:63, the life is in the Spirit. What this means for the believer is that the Holy Spirit IS the life of every one who has Yeshua HaMashiach in their hearts, and the Holy Bible is the written guarantee of His Word. But further, all of creation owes its very beginning and continued existence to Almighty God, the Father of the faithful and LORD over all. That having been said, it is conceded here that in spite of the necessity of every disciple to be immersed in the Holy Bible and to live life according to every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of Almighty God, many fail, for it is also written that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Almighty God in this mortal existence, and everyone needs to have faith in Yeshua HaMashiach as their redeemer for the forgiveness of sins and to take us to eternal life in Him. Conversely, it is the thinking of this reader that more than a million Arabic speaking people can recite the Quran, and many millions more in the translations of their native tongues, though in English it is a possibility of a greater difficulty since there are at least three versions of the Quran heard of by this reader. But even in that ability, there lies a fault that cannot be overlooked. You have written of the perceived difficulties in adhering to the Holy Bible, which is quite true, essentially because faith in Yeshua HaMashiach is centrally necessary for understanding its truth. Outside of the direction, teaching, and leading of the Holy Spirit, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. It is the Holy Spirit that infills every believer in Yeshua HaMashiach and gives each one the means to take in what the Holy Bible says to lead life in truth. When Yeshua HaMashiach made His first visit in the flesh to His people Israel, the majority of the people were leading secular lives with religious overtones, only of few them having the true faith of their fathers. These few were the ones Yeshua HaMashiach found ready to receive in faith the spiritual applications found in the Tanach, (the only scripture available at the time), and they were the beginning of the true Church. Judaism continued from the time after the crucifixion and resurrection, but the unbelief Yeshua HaMashiach found in them would be their curse that kept them from understanding what the Holy Bible said about Yeshua. That continues to this day. In the time of the Islamic Prophet, that spiritless religion that was being practiced by unbelieving followers of the Judaic traditions and the faithless Christianity being promoted by the Romanized Church was the source of information available to the people of the Middle East and the original message was lost in the corrupted mindset of majority of people no longer true to the following of Yeshua HaMashiach. Apostasy had crept in, and this was what the Islamic Prophet had to draw upon for his assessment of Christianity. The Holy Bible was not (and still is not) corrupted; only in the misunderstanding by faithless unbelievers did the WORD of the LORD suffer in its witness of truth to who Yeshua HaMashiach is. It was in that faithless time that the Adversary took advantage of the truth of Yeshua HaMashiach and turned it into a lie for the unbelief of the people of the time. Only in the faith of the extremely small population of true believers does the message of truth in the Holy Bible reside with us today. For the true believer in Yeshua HaMashiach, prophecy, indeed every speck of Biblical wisdom is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and every one who wrote his part in the Holy Bible did so under His complete control. In the frailty of humanity, it is the power of the Holy Spirit that keeps the Holy Bible true to the WORD of the LORD, and it is by the Holy Spirit alone that the Holy Bible can be understood and trusted. There is no mistake here that the Quran, (in spite of the Arabic scholarly world saying the Quran is valid only in its original form and it is for the primary use of Arabic people as many have written) has a broad appeal to the people of the Middle East and large parts of Asia. Most of that side of the world has lived independently of western influences for centuries, and were it not for the insatiable appetite of oil, it is likely the old separations would still be there. It is written in the Holy Bible why the old separations are not there in these modern times, and it is written in the Biblical prophets why. Such information that may be pointed to in the Quran are misleading because the Islamic Prophet did not believe in Yeshua HaMashiach, much less than he did the Biblical prophets. Why? It is because he did not trust the Jewish people any more then than modern ‘Palestinians' do now. More importantly, as can be demonstrated by the sweeping change in the religious landscape by the Islamic followers of the time that all religious persuasions other than Islam were to be subjugated according to the words you know are contained in the Quran. These sweeping changes occurred for the reason that the Islamic Prophet DOD NOT believe in the words of Yeshua HaMashiach, and it is the reason Muslims do not have the right relationship with Yeshua today. Couple that to the religious fervor of the more fundamental Muslim followers today who look at the current form of Christianity as a modern day form of the crusades and it is not hard to understand why the Holy Bible looks at this time the way that it does. Now in your final assertion, that true Christianity can be followed without contradiction by people of Islamic mindsets, is not proven by the attacks on Christians by Muslims around the world. It is a given that people without true faith in Yeshua HaMashiach, yet claim to be Christian, have perpetrated crimes of humanity against not only Muslims, but without distinction, to others of any non-aligned thinking. These types of acts were not required nor condoned by Yeshua HaMashiach, but were committed by influences of the Adversary in order to soil the truth of Almighty God. If this reader is truly allowed to practice what is required of disciple of Yeshua HaMashiach, then it is to obey His commandments, to witness the truth of His life mission, His death on the cross sought after by unbelieving of that first appearance, His burial and resurrection as prophesied by the Biblical prophets, and His ascension to the right hand of Almighty God, the Father. This, by the way, cannot be uttered in public in Saudi Arabia (nor can the Holy Bible be brought into that land, or any other land so governed by the influences of Islam. Here is a chuckle, that the very same thing is coming to pass in the United States of America. Only be the restraining power of the Holy Spirit permits Christians a very limited time to keep His WORD here on earth; that time is drawing to a close. When that power is removed, the amount of killing for religious reasons will such as there never was before. Those who do not have faith in Yeshua HaMashiach are warned of that in the Holy Bible. Now, as it always has been, true disciples of Yeshua HaMashiach are under commandment to love, not as the world loves, but as He does, and with the same kind of love that Almighty God had when Yeshua was put on the cross for the sake of paying the sin debt those who would become believers in faith. This is still available for the moment, but the Holy Bible says that moment is coming to a close as more and more people turn the message away. It is why Israel is besieged round about by the nations wanting to replace the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob with ‘Palestinians'. In reality, it is because the Adversary does not want Israel to be in possession of Jerusalem, for he knows what that means. Out of love the Holy Bible was written for mankind, and out of that love the destiny of mankind is governed by the Holy Bible through the Holy Spirit of Almighty God and Yeshua HaMashiach. It is out of that love that this reader owes everything to Yeshua HaMashiach, and the WORD of the LORD in the Holy Bible is the written covenant by which this reader lives; and when this mortal journey ends, life eternal in Him awaits.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
