A Fine Speech On Many PointsReader comment on item: Assessing Binyamin Netanyahu's Speech at Bar-Ilan University Submitted by Amerisrael (United States), Jun 14, 2009 at 18:55 Watched the speech live on the Fox news site. A short while later a bold headline at the top of the Fox news website declared " Netanyahu Endorses Palestinian State". What a tremendous let down. Was really hoping Bibi's speech would have been like the [bogus] preview ,"Special Sneak Preview of Netanyahu's Speech" by David Wilder at Hebron.com Nevertheless, Bibi did a great job on many key issues. Such as remaining strong on Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. He may have said those words "Palestinian state", but he also said Israel's ties to Judea and Samaria are 3500 years old. No way is Bibi going to give up the heartland of Israel. He should be smart enough to know the only the islamists only use "Palestine" as a tactic to oppose Israel. The only difference between Fatah and Hamas is that Hamas is more honest about their intentions. Fatah prefers the "Phased Plan" . The whittling down of Israel piece by piece. They use the "peace process", not for peace, but as a tactic to destroy Israel. As you say, lets hope Bibi's capitulation on mouthing the words for a Palestinian state, is his last.
