"Palestinians" cannot have wealth

Reader comment on item: Assessing Binyamin Netanyahu's Speech at Bar-Ilan University

You stated

To make matters worse, Netanyahu accepted the discredited 1990s premise of a "new Middle East" when he stated that "a strong Palestinian economy will strengthen peace." Have not the last fifteen years established that Palestinian wealth fuels the war machine?

Actually, the "Palestinians" do not have any wealth. They just have
terrorist oligarchs who have money. Before Arafat was put in charge,
there was some interaction after 1967 that could have led to
"Palestinian" wealth but it was stopped cold when the terrorists were
officially put in charge of running matters. Thus, we have not yet
seen any "Palestinian wealth" so we do not know what they would
actually do if they had any. Another example is when they tried to
give them the greenhouses of Gaza and the terrorists destroyed them.
As a result, they got bribes to use to buy weapons, but that is
tribute, not "wealth".
