The real islamic history

What history have you read ? . Your history is certainly non authentic so let me enlighten you. During the great islamic era both jews/christians flocked to Islamic dynasties knowing full well that they will be able to participate actively in society without the fear of being persecuted.

If you open your history books my dear friend you will find that Islamic rule in Andalucia Spain clearly epitomised this. Islam is certainly not a government it is much more bigger. It is in fact a guidance for mankind which is devine.

You note that the conquered were charged fees to live in Islamic lands, the exact term you are referring to was called jizya. To clarify this point i would like to note that the percentage paid by non muslim communities was minimal.Moreover muslims also had to contribute via zakat contributions which was in fact based on earning thus in many cases it was alot more. The money which was collected was rather like a welfare state. A safety net for the poor & for those who were in absolute need, also it was distributed for those in need & not based on which religion the vulnerable people belonged to. We all pay taxes dont we ? & we certainly dont have the choice to opt out.

Please compare Islamic conquest to european slavery whereby slaves were forcibly uprooted from their homes in Africa, shackled & placed on slaveships destined for the new world. They were in fact dehumanised & coerced to give up their religion for christianity.Furthermore they were brutally beaten whilst they worked on the plantations.Did they have a choice & who actually benefitted from the huge sums of money made from slavery ? Islam has never pursued such an aggressive approach in its entire history.
