To Peter HerzReader comment on item: Sheikh Obama and His Two Wars Submitted by shlomo (United States), Dec 20, 2009 at 16:40 Isn't playing to an audience, taking on it coloration, what dissimulation is? Couldn't ignorance be feigned as well--the expression, "stupid like a fox?" One has to know the difference between Shiite and Sunni to understand how this plays out. When Obama was elected, in Iran people were in the streets rejoicing, calling him "brother." Sunni clerics threatened death for concealing his Muslim identity, calling him a "house nigger." Shiite is usually leftwing; Sunni rightwing. Shiites may pretend to be of another faith for the ultimate glory of Islam. Sunnis eschew this form of Taqiyya. Obama's main Muslim tie I would venture to say is the Dearborn mosque (Shiite) and Hassan Al-Qazwini, a secret spiritual advisor, with whom he consults in private meetings. (One such meeting became a press item during the primaries.) The Dearborn mosque and Obama's former Trinity Church have both featured common speakers such as Louis Farrakhan.
