Confidence in Security Requires Competence in Security Methods-There are No Oscars for Failure to Act According to the Threat

Recognizing the FACT that the single (actually quadruple-pronged) most effective attack of a terrorist entity against the United States of America (or any other country, for that matter) in recent times was perpetrated with the use of commandeered civilian aircraft, the perpetrators being nothing more than motivated and well indoctrinated malefactors with the intense desire to do as much damage and injury as their diabolical efforts could accomplish. It seems incredulous that such a catastrophic event could be so easily dismissed by those with whom the security of the United States is vested. Are we still to believe that the 'political correct' approach of non-profiling potential passengers with more than a notion to do harm to themselves and others is going to have any kind of deterrent when the terrorist mentality is not merely hoping such practices are in place to allow them their next victory, but they are counting on it!

Obviously, they are still trying and they have openly said more are coming. So why are our 'security screens' still ineffective in protecting the traveler? Hopefully not too many more will be offered in sacrifice before security can be counted on to protect the public with the intelligence we have spent so much money on gathering.
