AdvisorsReader comment on item: Security Theater Now Playing at Your Airport Submitted by Robert (Brazil), Jan 13, 2010 at 06:24 This problem should be adressed by experts. A official task force of intelligence officers should be joined to adress the training of airport security officers. An advisory task force destined to prepare by their standards, all the possible scenarios regarding terrorist activities! A professional training that would be based on knowledge of special operations and infiltration operations. Technics used by intelligence agencies around the world intended to answer questions like: Would a iranian terrorist of the 21st century use a middle east passport to enter an western country? So why should security officers on airports take that information on high regard? What technics are used by us to infiltrate an enemy country? How would we prepare a bombing operation on a foreign nation having basic materials available? This kind of background knowledge should be used to prepare security officers... People inside a plane should be left alone .... Security should be more strict before you enter a plane, not after. To prohibit airline companies passengers to enjoy and relax on their trip isnt the answer... Civilians must have the right to live their lifes as normal as possible, and making arrangements for that matter is the obligation of the american government, a duty that is often being disregarded nowadays.
