Demoncrats stink now but in November they will reekReader comment on item: On Biden in Israel Submitted by Abba McDonald (Canada), Mar 14, 2010 at 09:20 To Edward L: In all due respect to these "sabras", acting like a well trained poodle is only going to lose respect and territory for Israel in the long term ( if there will be an Israel in the long term). After the Invasion of Lebanon by the IDF, Israeli leadership decided that to preserve US- Israeli relations they must contain and tolerate terrorism and kidnappings else the Americans will drop Israel. They adopted more and more precise killings and used their own men as missiles ( Jenin) and even made phone call warnings before bombs were dropped ( Gaza, Lebanon?). In their anaslysis, US leaders and their diplomats are only concerned about getting a golden handshake from the House of Saud. And they're right; ie, Carter, Bush, Clinton et al are all well connected to the Saudis. Israeli leaders are no better when it comes to making $$$ after they leave office or during office ( Barak, Ohmert and Peres). But the poodle policy is not a succesful one for poor or middle class Israelis nor has this calmed animosity towards Israel by Arab Islamists, Perian Islamists or Turkish Islamists nor by the progressive left in Europe or America. They smell blood and they're right too. Edward L. tell your freinds - chaverim - that the time is coming wehen Israel must put up or shut up. The poodle policy of giving away land has been a disaster. The Sinai withdraw, the South lebanon withdraw, the Gaza withdraw, the unfinished and unachieved results of battles in 2006 and 2008, means that the enemy smells blood and as a result, has put Israel into a terminal war mode, surounded by more and more hostile gangs. You can decide to give back the West Bank and then Haifa ( 53% Arab soon) as Hillary and Obama would like- this will really cement their future business interests with Middle East regimes - and move back to Poland or Russia but they do not want you unless you have a lot of shekels, because they have their own economic problems and Russia is afraid of their growing muslim population. Because of the poodle policy, Israel is in a much more precarious position, militarily , then they were in the 1980s, despite their advanced weaponry. Do not be afraid of this Demoncrat bunch. Their shelf life is dated.
