The missing possibilityReader comment on item: America's Shiny New Palestinian Militia Submitted by Craig Iskowitz (United States), Mar 16, 2010 at 08:12 Mr. Pipes, I believe that your analysis of the possibilities for nefarious uses of the Palestinian Authorities' military force is spot on. I agree that the potential for mischief is high regarding these troops. However, to be completely fair, you should include the possibility, however unlikely, that some kind of long term peace agreement is reached. It could be a non-belligerent Palestinian state, a collection of autonomous areas in the West Bank that are placed under complete control of the PA or something else. While I agree with you that US funding for this purpose is probably not the best use of the money, you are doing your readers a disservice by not considering all options.
