All foreseen

these militiamen will eventually turn their guns against Israel. When that happens, Dayton and the geniuses idealistically building the forces of Israel's enemy will likely shrug and say, "No one could have foreseen this outcome."

I think you need to credit the American military brass as directed by the State Department with more foresight. Essentially what they are looking for is a direct military confrontation with the Jewish State. This will come about when American instructors and commanders are caught in the cross-fire between the modern Arab Legion and Jewish troops. In fact looking back to Samantha Power's vision, this was the intention all along. As a military threat this militai is no better and no worse than 200000 Hamas soldiery which collapsed in Cast Lead. Its the American component that is disturbing.
