Jaladhi, and the False Prophets of IslamReader comment on item: When Obama Meets Netanyahu Submitted by LOU FROM QUEENS,NYC, USA (United States), Apr 2, 2010 at 16:00 Although Muhammad was born in the 7th century, the al-Qaeda geek's real prophet is a man named Taqi ibn Taymiyya who was born in 1269 c.e. Taqi lived during the time that the Mongol (Tartars) were invading, ravishing, and mass murdering the inhabitants' of Arabia. The Mongols destroyed the last Abbasid caliph in Baghdad destroying mosques, palaces, libraries, and killing at least one million people. So in fact the so-called Golden Age of Islam came to an end, with neither Jews, nor Christians being responsible for its destruction. Ibn Taymiyya prophesied that there are two kinds of jihad, one was an offensive jihad to expand the realm of Islam to unbelievers; the second was defensive in order to defend their homelands. As the Mongol invasions continued, and they themselves converted to Islam he became concerned about their growing influence upon Islam. Like al-Qaeda of today despite prohibitions of Muslims warring against Muslims the Mongols continued their demolition of the Middle-East. Traditionally calling a brother Muslim an apostate was considered inappropriate because people might have a legitimate grievance against an imperious or irresponsible ruler. Likewise labeling too many rulers as apostates might lead to chaos within the Islamic community which is usually summed up in the Arabic meaning of the word "fitna". Centuries later a very weird, asexual, ascetic school teacher, who lived with his mother most of his life would echo much of ibn Taymiyya's beliefs. Egyptian Sayyid Qutb was not an Islamic cleric, historian, nor a prophet, and in much of his writings replayed the Christian Crusades mixed in with the colonial intervention into Arabia during that time, and of course he could not resist stigmatizing the Jews. As one of two founders of the Muslim Brotherhood it should be remember that this organizations founder Hassan al-Banna had very close connections to both Nazi Germany, and fascist Italy. In fact its organizational structure was based on the Mussolini's infamous Black Shirts. They openly declared their alliance with Nazi Germany during the British and American liberation of North Africa during World War Two. And that is why many American Conservatives label such people Islamic-fascists. After calling Egyptian President Nasser a kafir, then attempting to assassinate him, Sayyid Qutb would finally be imprisoned then eventually executed for his continued role in anti-government activities. His brother Muhammad fled to Saudi Arabia where he taught Islamic studies. He became the favorite professor of a rich Yemeni/Saudi student named Osama bin Laden. If one would compare Sayyid Qutbs influence upon modern day Islam it would be like if the infamous Jim Jones preacher of Jonestown and his writings had had a major impact upon Christianity. And perhaps this explains why despite the xenophobic and anti-Semitic ranting of today's' Islamic apologists' much of their world remains in the state of "FITNA".
