Agree completely that this is a silver lining; it is nice to have the pressure off for once. However, relations with and concessions to the Palestinians are very much a back-burner issue, given that a seemingly inevitable war with Iran looms. If would be unfortunate if the Obama administration were using a few buildings in Jerusalem as a trick to absolve themselves of a responsibility for being militarily involved in the Iran situation. A strike on Iran would be a lot easier with Obama's support.
