it is weak leaders in Israel and other countries who will not take on the muslim terrorists, also many people have no stomach for war, so they surrender.

Where did our backbone go to ?

Yes we were terrified when Hitler invaded Poland and Imperial Japan attacked the U.S. , however we did not try to ignore the problem or talk our way out.

Well yes we did try before the war to appease the bad people, it failed because bad people don't wish to be appeased. They will use our niceness and hate of war against us. Constantly asking/demanding more and more. That is until we clue in that only good people can ever be appeased.

Some how we forgot that.

Once we learned that sadistic bullies can not be talked out of hurting us, we did start to fight. We fought well, we fought hard, the battles that were won did not come easy nor with out massive amounts of blood. Please keep in mind there would have been many more dead on both sides if we had waited any longer to defend ourselves. Even one months delay would have been horrifically worse.

The lack of backbone in our leaders makes this much worse. People seek leadership from their leaders. Please recall Sir Winston Churchill during the war, his speeches were legendary. He spoke of the hardship that all were going through, the pain, death , and fear. He also made sure to convince people that their fight was true and pure. For self defense and nothing more. That one day it would all be worth while, that they had to fight this evil brute and his thoughts of a superior race.

Today, we do not have enough leaders in government who will stand up against a group of racist, fanatical killers.

We the public must stand up against the islamist ideology that call for the death of all non-muslims.
