Dr. Pipes:

Regardless of whether Abbas is being sincere, do you not agree that, by ignoring what Abbas says, Netanyahu is handing Abbas a PR victory that allows Abbas to portray himself as a peace-maker and Netanyahu as a warmonger? In other words, do you not think that Netanyahu must engage Abbas directly and challenge him on this issue of doublespeak (e.g. endorsement of the idea of all of Israel as Palestine on PA state TV)?
