Pipes does not quote Abbas on message to Palestinians

Daniel Pipes may be correct in his conclusion, but fails to support his point well. He quotes Abbas in stating his case to America and Israel, but fails to have one quote from Abbas for the position to the Palestinians. Change does not come easily, and has to start someplace. Abbas appears to be taking dramatic steps to move a process. Sadat did the same, made peace and was killed for it.

Peace is not made with friends, it is made with enemies. Perhaps these steps can lead there, perhaps not.
