ishas gone...But the practice still remainReader comment on item: Gaddafi's Fin de Régime Submitted by Salomon s mizrahi (Brazil), Feb 24, 2011 at 21:52 Dear Daniel, Ugly Arab dictators has gone not because the revolts were for democracy, but because the population wanted to survive and improve their standard of living that is in free fall. However they will be replaced by new tyrants. New demagogues and surely their signature will be being anti-Israel and anti-Semitic. Because these sentiments are embedded and atavic in the Arab mobs and within the mosques, where one finds the hotbed of the hate. In short, although the middle east is or was ugly, I am sure the middle east will not be better with the new rulers. Democracy, pluralism and real freedom of speech are incompatible with the Islam. One more thing: the example of Turkey is striking; with the Islamic party in power we have witnessed an involution in freedom and of rational thinking.
