I know it's beside the point, but I couldn't let this go by w/o commentReader comment on item: Extras about Zionists Purchasing Israel, Not Stealing Palestine Submitted by Linda Talisman (United States), Jun 21, 2011 at 08:56 You make a very important point, and do it very well. But I have trouble with the following sentence: "The United States came into existence by defeating Native Americans." This statement makes it sound like the Revolutionary War & the defeat of a major colonizing power doesn't count. To add mention that it was by purchase as well as conquest isn't enough. I think the problem is with the phrase "came into existence by". It seems like a similar manipulation of history & distortion of facts you are criticizing. Other than that it's a wonderful article.
