Well Amin, using your circular logic, if Google and facebook are not standards of freedom, why do repressive regimes go to such lengths to control or block them?

And compare this to basic human freedoms .... them above are trivial. Also Internet and Computer themselves are the primary and main inventions. If you took out Google or Facebook - people would still communicate and manage. Personally I don't use Facebook (dont like the blue design).

I do not think you know what the term circular logic means.... else how was/is my logic circular?

One has to remember you have trouble telling what an adjective is and it isn't.

You seem to not understand the point. That social networking, a free media and access to information are the cornerstones of a free society, limiting access to information, controlling the press and building barriers between people is what repressive regimes do.

Social Media - is NOT cornerstone to a free society. Worst crime of repressive govt is killing you for saying what you want to say...

Social Media is a luxury..... compared to a basic get together ... ability to choose your leaders ... free expression and etc.

I have learnt a lot from you Amin, that is what a free society has allowed me to do. What I have learnt from you is not what you may have intended, but never the less I have found you and educational experience and you do hold onto very strongly your convictions.

What you fail to see, what scares you most is where people do not agree with you. If you were from a free society, this would not scare you, but your comments betray your cultural background, in that you feel you need to be right and everybody must agree with you.

So how did you come to this conclusion - more making up fiction? I believe I was born here in UK - fourth generation. Before that my forefather are from India - some came as they were part of British Military. (Who were colonial masters of India).

These days both countries are pretty free. Though India has some way to go....

Try asking rather than making up things you could not possibly know about someone.

A free society is the right to be different and the right to not agree.

And... what of it? We are different and disagreeing. Not I have censored you neither you have censored me?
