UN power goals

Since a persitent goal of the UN is to have a standing army with soldiers under its control, then this may be one of the next major steps toward the undoing of the free world and a concerted attack upon Israel. Except for Canada under the principled foreign policy stewardship of the current Prime Mininster Stephen Harper and his government, what are the chances that Western governments will have the courage to resist? God help us all, as that will then be all that can. The Western governments have already given over increasing sovergnty issues to economic unelected world organizations, so political ones may follow?
