Turkey should not allowed to EUReader comment on item: Turkey's Military Capitulation Hits Home Submitted by mo (United Kingdom), May 20, 2012 at 03:23 I support that Turkey should not be allowed to enter sinking christian ship of EU. When Turkey was sick man of Europe & they were kept at arm length like stinking dog with occasional bones thrown at them like unification talks. Greeks in cyprus voted against unification of cyprus, which greeks have been accusing turks of preventing it, to prevent muslim turks entering EU through back door. Now that fortunes have reversed, with turkey taking it's rightful status as an econonomy tiger of Asia, and strategic power in middle east, while greeks are contemplating shameful exit out of EU to prevent mass suicide there, EU is dusting out old reunification talks. This is because they started thinking that EU need help of turkey's industrious young population to prop up fizzling economy of EU. I do not think any up right Turk will contemplate unification with EU with which it does not have any shared values except what Ata Turk's military forcefully thrusted upon them. Turkey is an Asian country and it's destiny is in Asia. Asia is the future centre of growth and prosperity with epicentres developing in China and India.
