For some time now I have had ambiguous feelings about an American intervention in Syria. A number of months ago Ellie Wiesel (sp?) implied, when he addressed the President, that the United States should intervene into that horrible slaughter which is still going on. Thus I leaned in the direction of making an intervention. Your article was realistic. the enemy you don't know may very well be worse than the enemy you do know (i.e., Assad). Further, any intervention orchestrated by President Obama, I believe, would be half-assed anyway and actually make matters worse. Thanks for being a commentator who avoids knee-jerk advice.
