Values for choosing a candidate

I am a Zionist and a Conservative Jew. I voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and have not been happy with many of his actions regarding Israel. On the other hand, there are several sources who believe he has helped Israel on the whole. Congress has a lot of input on US/Israel relations as well. I firmly believe that Obama demonstrates the Jewish values that are important to me and that are the basis of our religion including caring for the less fortunate, treating employees and customers honestly, not bearing false witness. Many of Mitt Romney's supporters are extreme Christian fundamentalists who are trying to turn the USA into a theocracy. The Republican platform lists items that are against Jewish teaching, such as considering a fetus to be a full human being. However, we are voting for the President of the USA, not of Israel and, as Americans.should vote for the candidate who would best serve our nation. Many of Mitt Romney's supporters are. I will be voting for President Obama in 2012 .
