Maybe one day, in the very distant futureReader comment on item: Romney vs. Obama vis-à-vis Israel Submitted by stanley b (United States), Sep 9, 2012 at 18:39 Many things would have to change in order for there to be a mass exodus of Jews from the USA. One of them would have to be the ideology and priorities of the liberal Jews. They are primarily liberal democrats who are very loyal to the (democrat) US and the entitlements, redistribution of wealth, in short, socialist (or as they would say, compassionate socialism). Their concern for Israel is marginal to none, especially as many of them regard Israel as an oppressor and side with the Palestinians, as they have been historically wont to do with the civil rights movement and oppressed blacks. I wonder if anyone notices how many Jews have defended minority rights in this country. So for that reason alone, Israel as long as she is a strong figure, will not be an option. They are living here in the cradle of ultimate civilization, and will not leave it unless something changes very drastically. Perhaps in the future, as the US becomes more and more fractured, when the inevitable blame is laid on the Jews, it might happen, but that will not likely happen in our lifetimes. However, stranger things have happened in our history.
