Netanyahu Again Offers The Golan Heights To Syria?Reader comment on item: Netanyahu Again Offers the Golan Heights to Syria? Submitted by Judith (United States), Oct 15, 2012 at 02:21 If such a Hawk like B.B. was willing to negotiate such a deal as the Golan, and yet forces beyond his control or the control of others who would compromise with such nonsense, was thwarted, it seems to be there are forces greater than we know in control. So little does anyone ever mention the reason Israel, Judah and Samaria grew up in the land of Canaan in the first place. Seems to be, Abraham was guided by a force greater than any man, or any man's opinion of how to bring about peace. To compromise with the enemies of the God of Israel would be peace? B.B. must be happy he escaped another bad decision under pressure, like the giving up of the Gaza. We know how that worked. I must admit I am hawkish about Israel holding on to every hectare of land they can, and cannot disagree with the religious community about this. It seems to me giving up land for peace in Israel is like giving over the soul of God. That is, of course an opinion. One, however, not born out of ignorance but a knowledge of Biblical scripture. Perhaps the Islamic world will continue to implode and Israel would do well to hang on to everything they can, their land and their faith, while the world crashes around them. Soon enough there will be even bigger decisions to make.
