Syrian "Deal"- a fraud waiting to happenReader comment on item: Netanyahu Again Offers the Golan Heights to Syria? Submitted by Shishir (United Arab Emirates), Mar 31, 2013 at 01:49 We all know how that would play out. Israel would return the Golan and the entire Arab world would erupt into triumphalist euphoria -"today the Golan, tomorrow Tel Aviv" or something similar! Assad would officially severe ties with Iran but instead would agree to become a satellite state of either Turkey or Iranian controlled Iraq and accept their oil cash to fund terrorism against Israel and feign helplessness when prodded by Israel on this matter. The "international community" would warn Israel not to touch Assad or punish Syria in any way since he is "a partner is peace" (like how Arafat used to be) As for Hezbollah logistics and weapons base? That's what (U.S funded) Egypt and Turkey are for!
