All of sudden against Arab despots??Reader comment on item: Netanyahu Again Offers the Golan Heights to Syria? Submitted by Jonny (United States), Oct 16, 2012 at 13:27 Daniel, you said: "Let's hope that the upheavals of the past two years close down these misguided ideas of reaching Arab-Israeli treaties before real reform has come to the Arabic-speaking countries. (October 14, 2012)" Daniel, On the issue of supporting despots over supporting elected leaders (most likely Islamists), you opted to defend the despots like Assad. With your comment above, you don't seem consistent on the issue of Arab despots. For this reason, I support the "evil" of elected leaders over unelected despots.

I don't see the inconsistency: I am against turning the Golan Heights to a despot but prefer a despite to an Islamist. If it helps, I am also against turning the heights to an Islamist.
