ExcellenceReader comment on item: Denying Islam's Role in Terror: Explaining the Denial Submitted by Tom Dundee (United States), Mar 8, 2013 at 14:08 This is one of the finest and most comprehensive articles on modern Islam that I have read. Islam is Islam and that explains all that anyone needs to know. The Koran prohibits peace with the Infidel and it allows a truce only to prevent defeat and then only until they are able to continue their aggressions. I doubt that Islam has ever existed in peace with its neighbors: however, I will only speak to the time following 632 when Mohammad ordered the Islamic armies to slay the infidel and conquer the world for Allah. In 732, Charles Martel deals the Islamic hordes their first major defeat a couple days ride from Paris. During the same time frame they have conquered most of the Byzantine Empire, toppled the Persian Empire, taken half of India, and part of China. Most of the land taken was Christian, the Persians, the Indians, and Chinese were non-Christian. The made the Romans seem like amateurs. Since 632 the only time that the forces of Islam have behaved themselves is following a massive and catastrophic defeat when they were unable to continue their aggressions, of which Tours was the first. I am a bit weak on this and cannot list all the major defeats, but here are a few. La Toloosa, Spain, Vienna 1529 & 1683, Lepanto 1571, there were some in the Balkans, and in China and India. This is the reality of Islam. Moderate Islam is a lot like UFOs, you hear a lot about them, but never see one.
