As it's only truth which sets us free, in Volume III [covering the history of 1185 A.D.--1453 A.D.] of Edward Gibbon's The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, 1769, the crux of Islam is presented. Quoting from pages 100-101: "The sword, " says Mohammed, "is the key of heaven and of hell: a drop of blood shed in the cause of God, a night spent in arms, is of more avail than two months of fasting and prayer: whosoever falls in battle, his sins are forgiven: . . . The intrepid souls of the Arabs were fired with enthusiasm: . . and the death which they had always despised became an object of hope and desire." From the Qur'an of Darussalam 1996, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, page 1231: "The prophet Muhammad made a "bargain" with Allah. All "believers" who fight in Allah's Cause will receive the prize of Paradise. This bargain/promise is binding in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an. These are the best books revealed from the Heavens." (according to the Qur'an)" Page 1228: (V.61.11) i.e. Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is better for you than your staying (back at home). " Page 1233: "All the Muslim religious scholars unanimously agree that Jihad is superior to Hajj and Unrah (pilgrimage) . . . Jihad shows one patience, one's devotion to Islam, one's remembrance to Allah. . . which are not present in any other act of worship." This is confirmed in the two authentic books of Hadith." Conclusion: to defeat the Islamic Jihad, we must use the Torah and the Gospel!
