It is sick and racist to exclude someone due to religion, colour or race ... but . . . .

Racist is wrong !

No ifs, ands or buts !

However it might be the only way someone could get a fair trial.

Imagine if a writer, who writes about islam was being sued by C.A.I.R.

Now think if all the members of the jury by chance were all muslims.

One might wonder if a fair hearing is possible.

It is racist to remove someone from a jury due to colour or race or religion.

However there may be times when we have to hold our nose and allow it.

In my country of Canada the Supreme Court of Canada was to rule on mercy killings of disabled children.

One of the Judges, excluded himself due to the fact he has two very very disabled children and both of them died.

He felt he would not be able to be fair and independent.

Also the issue of the appearance of fairness.
