Am not supporting any sideReader comment on item: Support the Syrian Rebels? Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), May 15, 2013 at 12:01 If I could find one good thing about any of the two sides, I may support that one, however seeing the last video of a rebel leader eviscerating the corpse of a dead syrian soldier to eat his heart and liver, makes me wonder. The world does not seem to know what to do, help or not help the rebels, right? I say, leave them all alone killing each other if this is the norm in this Arab world. Stop paying attention to what they are doing. Yes, you will say it is inhuman to see innocent people die and do nothing. But, whatever you do will not solve the problem. I say it is the Arab world problem and if they care for one another, let them fix it by themselves, why involve other nations - who will be blamed regardless- who have nothing to do with this conflict? We are almost close to 100.000 dead, and yet we are back to day 1, where non one knew what to do. We are supposed to have a United Nations to take care of issues like these, and where are they? Doing nothing as usual, collecting their hefty salaries and enjoying all the benefits. Sad to see the world going nowhere and not one leader to come up with the solution. I will say it again, it is their problem, they wanted to get rid of their dictator, then let it be. Look what happened when they removed Khaddafi and Mubarack, are they any better?> Sure no! And I will say it again, as smart as we think we are, we are not learning from history, and history makes a fool of us by repeating itself JACQUES HADIDA Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
