Deportation

Reader comment on item: [The Abu Ali Case and] Balancing Liberties, Security

Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), Mar 2, 2005 at 14:20

Western countries are far too keen on civil liberties to crack down on Militant Islam.

As long as the supporters of Militant Islam live in the West, they will get all the protection granted to Americans and Europeans.

It is amazing how civil libertarians defend certain criminals who live in the West. The West is a victim of left-wing egalitariansism.

Left-wingers are more concerned with the civil liberties of illegal immigrants than they are with the safety of Americans, Australians, Spaniards, Israelis etc.

The way out is to deport immigrants. I know, it is harsh. And it sounds racist. Left-wigers would never have that.

But some immigrants must be deported, for our own safety. In some instances, there is nothing else to do but to send immigrants back to their own countries.

In some instances, deportation is the only way out.

And now, let left-wingers and liberals attack me for this view.
