The real danger to US national security

I do not think that Mr. Abu-Ali is the real danger even though he was supposed to assassinate the US president and trying to form an Al-Qaida cell.

I will characterize the real and the ultimate danger to the United States and its citizen in two items that I will define as follows:

1. An immediate problem that needs to be fixed, you do not need to wait but to act. This mean to eliminate Syrian threat one way or another. Take out Huzbullah from the Middle East equation and finally Iran.
These three groups that I mentioned above are the real danger for the next 10 years unless we deal with them one way or another and the sooner the better.

2. Another major problem that needs more time to fix is the Wahabism ideology and to some extent the Salafi as well. These ideologies need longer, smarter approaches to counter them, but we need to work against this destructive ideology now.

This ideology is not going to graduate just one Abu-Ali but could easily produce so many terrorists. Fight Abu-Ali….maybe..but the real war should be against the school, the mosque, and the ideology as whole that justified these evil acts.

Be nice! be sensitive! Maybe. But what I know is that we need to be strong, firm and if anyone muddle with us, we will not punish the individual but the whole group and the ideology. This is the only way US will be safe or at least the way I think it's going to be.
