Reform civil liberties and control immigrationReader comment on item: [The Abu Ali Case and] Balancing Liberties, Security Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), Mar 3, 2005 at 16:29 Like I have said in previous e-mails, civil liberties and immigration are two of the main obsessions of the left-wing.Indeed, the two things go hand in hand. First, you have got to open the door to immigrants and then you have got to defend the civil liberties of Muslims. The left-wing has managed to shut up every possible debate. But, if left-wingers weren't harrassing us, would we still support civil liberties and immigration? The pro-immigration lobby wants people from Less Developed Countries to be allowed into the West. Their cousins from the pro-civil liberties lobby want to defend the right to preach hatred against Christians and Jews as well as the right to wear Muslim head-scarves. The solution is three-fold: 1) Tell left-wingers to get lost 2) Deport illegal immigrants and the ones who conspire against the nation 3) Forget about civil liberties
