Caliphate on the rise - In Turkey

I agree with Dr. Pipes. However, my take on this is that Turkey may soon emerge as a strong political player that will unite Muslim countries for the purpose of re-establishing the Caliphate rule from Istanbul. Watch for events to unfold whereby Turkey gets more involved in helping formulate a "peace process" for the Middle East and where Muslim nations will agree to quit "striking terror against the Unbelievers" and unify under the long awaited goal of reviving a powerful Islamic government akin to the Ottoman Empire.

Ironically, Israel and Western nations may even go along with the idea if this provides the answer that they believe will bring "peace and security" to the region.
