IHow secular is general Al-Sisi?

I share your views about fascists, communists and islamists. They can't be tamed by democracy. But have you noticed Robert Springborgs article "The General's Radical Political Vision" in Foreign Affairs? He argues that general Al-Sisi could be an islamist himself. In Turkey, the army has - or had? - a clearly defined secular "kemalist" ideology. Officers were selected that way. In Egypt, there never was such a selection. Maybe it's to easy to think that Al-Sisi will be another Sadat or another Moubarak.
