Shameful article in today's New York Times by clueless David FitzpatrickReader comment on item: What to Want in Egypt Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 16, 2013 at 12:44 Dr. Pipes In an article in today's New York Times by this poor journalist David Fitzpatrick is quoting a 27 year old Islamist in Cairo who says that the Copts must be blamed for the recent atrocities committed by el-Ikhwan and the death of many Islamists because they led the June 30 uprising which led to the fall of Morsi! Oh the evidence?it is that Pope Tawadors was present and spoke when el-Sisi spoke to the people of Egypt to let me them know that Morsi is gone and that the Pope was supportive of the coup Wow this is the same man that wrote that only 2M Egyptians participated in the June 30 uprising against Morsi but he never refutes the claim that some 30M Egyptians participated in this uprising all over Egypt which means that even if every Copt in Egypt newborns and old people included participated in this uprising then we still have a balance of 20M so where did they come from - Mars? What is most bizarre is that he does ask the Islamist then how come Islamists are not after the Salafists or Shiekh al-Azhar as they were both present and they spoke in support of the military at the same time when al-Sisi addressed the people of Egypt But most damaging to his case let us say he was interviewing me about the same subject and I would tell him that I have evidence that al-Shaytan is responsible for Morsi being out of office would he publish such nonsense? He is ignorant Shame on the NYT Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
