do not expose or release chemical weapons by attacks

I fear that an attack on military targets that contain chemical weapons may expose or release them. I assume that those chemical weapons are currently safe within facilities that are guarded by the Syrian military. Other combatants could seize those weapons should a Western attack destroy the physical protection. Such a scenario would require Western infantry to secure those weapons on the ground. A limited strike looks like an illusion to me.

In case some chemical weapons are ready for use ( no longer distinct components ). A strike could release the chemical agents in an uncontrolled fashion.
