No prove yetReader comment on item: Arguing against "Limited" Strikes on the Assad Regime Submitted by Wolf (Germany), Aug 29, 2013 at 17:02 Assad seems to be on the winning track against Dschabhat al Nusra, FSA and many sunnite gangs - why should he have used chemical weapons? This seems to be a trick of Islamists to drag the political apprentice in Washington into the bloody civilian war. What counts, are the rights of minorities and individual freedom rights. Compared to Egypt, Libya, Saudi-Arabia, Iran etc. Syria under the dictatorship of Assad is well off. The slow evolution of political rights can be imagined under his rule. Most of the rebels are fierce islamic bandits, which want to erect an islamic caliphate like Saudi-Arabia is. So there is no sensible choice in the line of minority rights than to support Assad in the present bad situation.
